Q. Okay, so The Way is another church in McCamey...
But what makes"The Way" any different than any other church?

A. We hope we're NOT different than your church!

The Way Christian Fellowship is dedicated to preaching the one, true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
For your sake, we hope that your church is also preaching the same true, biblical Gospel.

It is not about a "Full Gospel" or "All of the Gospel", because there is no such thing as anything less than the "True Gospel"... Anything less is an incomplete "False Gospel"

Imagine going to Wendy's. You order TWO hamburgers, but when you get home and open the bag, you find that you only have ONE hamburger! You have not received your "FULL  ORDER". Now what if you open the burger you DID get and it already has a few bites out of it? Not only did you get lees than a "Full Order", but your food has also been tampered with! Either way, you did not receive a "full order, a "full meal" or a "full burger, did you? It was WORTHLESS, DISGUSTING, and UNABLE to satisfy you in any way.

Also imagine going to the pharmacy to fill your heart tablet prescription. What if they give you tablets that only have 50% of the medication that your doctor prescribed? You have not received a "FULL  PRESCRIPTION" and your heart will not get the help it needs. You could be in trouble or you might even die! Either way, there is a HUGE problem with being offered tablets that are not the "full dose" that your doctor prescribed, and you would very alarmed when you found out!

At The Way, it's all about the TRUE Gospel. Yes, it is also the "FULL" Gospel, but it is only "full" because it is "FULLY" from the Bible! Not because we "have something" that others don't. The only thing we have that others may not have is SALVATION through the "Full, True Gospel" of Jesus Christ!

At The Way, it's all about the ONLY  Gospel... it's all about the "Good News"!

Q. What is the "Good News" that we preach?

A. First, the "Bad News"... YOU  ARE  NOT A "GOOD  PERSON"!

You are guilty of breaking God's Holy Law! God is a good judge and He has said that "EVERY  LIAR" is guilty and will be sentenced to Hell. (Rev 21:8)

Since you have broken this 9th Commandment (not to mention the others) you DESERVE to be sent to Hell!

You DESERVE God's wrathful anger to be poured out against you... because You are rebellious, you have a wicked heart, and you are guilty of breaking God's Holy Law!

>> Now, the "Good News"!

Even though you deserve to go to Hell because you have broken His Laws over and over, God has freely offered to "aquit you of all charges" through His "peace plan" of Salvation through Jesus Christ.

First Thessalonians 5:9-10 says "For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Jesus Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever.

Do you want the charges against you to be cleared so that God's wrath will not be poured out on you?

The only hope for your salvation from God's wrath is to...

(1) ...turn FROM your sin TO Jesus Christ in REPENTANCE.

What does that mean? Very simply, you must change the attitude of your heart from:
"I'm not so bad! or
"I try to be a good person"
to
"I believe that what God's Word says is TRUE...
I AM guilty! I AM a sinner! I DO deserve to go to Hell!"

(2) ...put your trust in Jesus ONLY for your salvation. Only the Perfection of Jesus applied to your account can allow you to stand GUILTLESS under God's wrathful eyes (Habakuk 1:13). We are accounted as perfect and RIGHTEOUS (right with God) only through Faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross! (II Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:89)

NOTHING you can do (or not do) can make you any more (or less) "right with God".
Your salvation is only because of what JESUS DID, 2000 years ago, when He nailed ALL of your sin (Past, Present, and Future sins) to the cross! (Colosians 2:13-14)

The old hymn says it nicely:
"Jesus paid it ALL,
All to Him I owe.
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow!"

That's the Good News!.

We did not produce this video but this is the heart of the message we preach.
Listen to it carefully.

Q. Doesn't "More" mean "Better" when we deal with God?

A.
Would you be happy if Wendy's added a few jalapenos or some extra mustard to your regular burger withour you ordering it?

Would you be happy if the pharmicist added some liver medication to your heart medicine if it was not on the prescription?

God hates  for  His  "ORDERS" to  be messed with!

Revelation 22:18-19 says: "
And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person €™s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book."

What about your church?

Is YOUR  CHURCH "following" or is it "adding to" God's prescription for salvation?
How do you KNOW? Have you really read it in God's Word or do you just believe it because it's "what you've been taught"?

Is your church teaching (or requiring) that you MUST do any of the following in order to be saved or forgiven?:

• BE  A  MEMBER  OF  ANY  PARTICULAR  CHURCH or ORGANIZATION,
• CONTINUALLY ASK FOR FORGIVENESS,
• GIVE  TITHES,
• GIVE  OFFERINGS,
• BE  BAPTIZED,
• PROSELYTING  WORK  or HANDING  OUT  LITERATURE
• SPEAK  IN  TONGUES,
• KEEP  OLD  COVENANT  FEASTS  and/or CEREMONIES,
• DO  PENANCE,
• CONFESS  TO  A  PRIEST/PASTOR,
• RECITE  STANDARD  PRAYERS (Like the "Lord's Prayer" or "Hail Mary", etc.)

According to God's Word, these things are NOT part of your salvation!

If your church says these things are required, they are falsely teaching that Jesus' blood is not powerful enough to finish the salvation job! They are teaching that YOUR ability to "DO" good works is what helps Jesus' weak blood "finish the job." Do you really want a Savior who needs your help to "finish the job"?

Say you had a heart attack and were laying unconscious waiting on the paramedics (your "saviors"). What can you do to "help yourself"?

• Can you call the ambulance?
NO, left to your own ability to "do something", you will die! YOU  MUST  HAVE  FAITH  THAT  SOMEONE  ELSE  WILL CARE ENOUGH  TO  CALL because you are UNABLE to do anything for yourself!

• Can you tell the paramedics what's wrong?
NO, left to your own ability to "do something", you will die! YOU  MUST  HAVE  FAITH  THAT  THEIR  TRAINING  WILL  ALLOW  THEM  TO  DIAGNOSE  YOU PROPERLY because you are UNABLE to do anything for yourself!

• Can you push the button on the defibrillator, or yell "CLEAR!" when they try to shock your heart back into a beating rythym?
NO, left to your own ability to "do something", you will die! YOU  MUST  HAVE  FAITH  THAT  THEY  KNOW  WHAT  THEY  ARE  DOING  AND  THAT  THEY  WILL  DO  IT because you are UNABLE to do anything for yourself!

You CANNOT be a part of your own salvation.
You must TRUST  JESUS for EVERYTHING!

Our salvation is NOT dependent on what we DO because we not just lying unconscious... we are DEAD... we can't do anything of any value to "work out" our own salvation!

In fact, to God, all of a sinner's attempts at "holiness"... all of our so-called "righteousnesses"... all of our "good works" are an utterly disgusting mess... as valuable to God as filthy, used, toilet products. (Isaiah 64:6)

It is not until we are BORN  AGAIN that we are "made complete" (forgiven + alive) in Christ. (Colossians 2:10) Only when we are already "complete in Christ" do of our "works" count for anything! When we are truly, finally, completely saved, we become "new creatures" "created for doing good works" that will lead others to Jesus, too!

Ephesians 2:9-10 says "Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God €™s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

So, that's what The Way is all about! New Life in Jesus Christ and sharing that Good News with others!
